Pentacon P6 TL. CZ 80mm Biotar. Silver gelatin paper negative process.
The shutter speed dial on my P6 is sadly not working with precision. I love that camera, and was pleased I could shoot some paper after managing to get it firing on B. I wanted to experiment with paper negs and some low light come the night images. This is a result.

Tan Tee Huah, , Ned, and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

Those clouds are awesome! Love how the long exposure really made them fluid.

I'm really impressed, I wouldn't have thought of this... too used to using paper negatives in a pinhole camera where it would be hopeless. But it makes sense now that I think about it, paper has almost no reciprocity. This looks great! ( How many minutes would be a starting point if I wanted to try it?? )

I am so much a wing it, try and see kinda guy Ned.......from memory I exposed this for about 20 seconds, with the lenses at about f11 I think.......with the right contrast in the negative....I will be able to enlarge from the negs. I still have so much to learn.....

Thanks! I like to wing it too but that gets me in the ballpark. Not 20 minutes! One time I tried to calculate how much time a paper negative in a pinhole camera would need for a night shot and came up with something like 20 hours... longer than the night. Hope all is well, I really enjoy seeing what you do.
