Silver gelatin paper negative process. Globus 5 x 7 LF Camera. Circa 1898 Ross Protar Lens.2 second exposure
Back Ground To Image: Excited to share these two variations from an image I shot with my 5 x 7 Globus with the 1898 Ross Lense. What I love about this lense is that it is the same as Henry Winkelman used, and he took images in Northland / Te Tai Tokerau and I have a heart to do the same, of the people and the land. For non kiwis.........the Tangata Whenua (original people off the land) of Aotearoa (New Zealand).........otherwise known as Te Maori......the land is known as Te Whenua. This is up Kokopu Rd, Maungatapere.......on the way to Gallery259. Light leaks which is most likely from my safelight positioning being too close when I cut the paper for the holders...................BUT still lovely.
