Clocks Cityhall of Hamburg, Germany (*1897)

The cityhouse (or townhall or however you call it) of Hamburg was constructed around 1897 and planned by many architects over a period of 43 years.
It is 111m in wide and 112m heigh, and in his glory one of the few buildings in germany which remain completely in the so called "Historicism". de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historismus (several more languages).

Yeah. And one of the last pretty old ones at this location. During WWII most of these old buildings are destroyed in a firesturm.

Das Rathaus hat einige schöne Details, und da es mit der Brennweite meiner Kamera nicht möglich ist, es in kompletter Breite zu fotografieren, konzentriere ich mich eben auf die Details, die andere dafür dann vielleicht nicht fotografiert haben. :-)
