One afternoon in Venice, 2003

A visit to Venice, where I'd always wanted to go. All too brief because I was on the way back from work in Albania and had two people with me who weren't so romantically inclined! ;) All these shots were taken with a little Olympus C990Z compact digital, which was the first digital camera I'd gotten my hands on. I was really very impressed with it - certainly more so than with the Nikon E2000 I bought shortly afterwards. It always seemed to choose a good exposure; slightly over when pushed, but not noisy in low light.
