Me with Babs, one of mum's rescued kitties; my mum and my grandma. Babs is named after grandma's mum, my great-gran, Barbara. Pentax Super-A, Ilford XP2, self-timer, and the exposure compensation set to x2 which may have been a bit pessimistic of me!

Many of this group of shots made mum look like she was on a discussion programme as one of a panel of serious intellectuals. They're all a bit... serious, though! The lighting, I suppose. But here's a nice one with a satisfied smile after a point well made, or taken!

This is the kind of aeroplane my Grandpa, Joe Smith learned to fly in. We were asked not to get too close to the cockpit because it's a bit radioactive - thanks to the glow-in-the-dark dials! At East Fortune airfield (Scottish National Museum of Flight).

Sadly, this shot was framed with a nice background, but I managed to wipe the file from my memory card. After recovery, the full Canon CR2 RAW file was corrupted. This is the portion I was able to recover. The previous image in the photostream is the camera's lower-quality, automatically-generated JPEG preview of the whole frame.

It's an interesting crop anyway, but I was cross.

Many years on! I last met up with my wonderful cousins in Scotland, when I was about 15.
