This is Adam's wonderful violin, immediately after he finished making it.
It's been beautiful watching him sitting, every evening, in the workshop he made in the shed, and contemplating each piece of recycled wood, and how best to carve each one.
The violin is constructed in a non-standard way based on his own understanding and theories, and is modelled on folk-style eastern European five-string violins.
Sorry about the weird back-lit photo! Nothing to do with the celebratory champagne.
