Captured using a piece of black card as a background. The light is a mix of natural window light assisted by a small LED panel.
Everyone loves a bear in a hat and bow-tie!

I spotted this painting on a wall inside a charity shop.
I was unable to find out who the artist was, but I was allowed to take a photo of it. It was already in black and white, so I just cropped the photo to remove some distractions and added some contrast and a border.
I love it...........if it had been painted on a canvas instead of on a wall, I would have bought it :-))

Both captured in my local church cemetery, where areas have been roped off to allow the growth of wild flowers.
Street Art
I haven't posted any street art for a while, so I thought I'd share three of my recent finds. The other two images are in the PiPs.
I don't know who the creator of this piece is, so I can't credit him or her, but the artist who created the two PiPs is known as UNIFY and his work can be found here: www.unifyartist.com

These are situated on the sea front at Southsea, Hampshire. They date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and have been Grade II listed for their artistic, architectural and historical interest.
They have recently been restored. See the link for more details if you are interested:

Camelia
I spotted this Camelia in a park in Portsmouth and thought I'd get up close and personal. The lens I used is not strictly a macro lens, but it does have a macro setting on it, which does a great job.
Please check out the PiP for a wider view.

Definite signs of a coffee addiction..!!
This is actually some very old wallpaper in a café we were in this morning. I couldn't resist taking a photo of it.
Better views large if you have time!

Still Life with Cotton Reels and Measuring Tape
I wish I could take credit for putting this one together, but the truth is I found it exactly as you see it, hanging on a wall in a charity shop. It was part of a display and was not for sale...........but I was allowed to photograph it in situ.
Yellow Angels
Black and White Bubbles

There is a small bridge over part of the Mill Pond at Langstone Harbour, where a run-off allows the extra water to drain into the sea. By hanging over the top of the railings and looking straight down with my camera I was able to get a close up of the water as it ran over the lip of the run-off! I think it makes a lovely abstract image, especially if you view large!
Bosham Quay, West Sussex
A view of Bosham Quay, West Sussex, taken on a cold but sunny day, earlier this week. The building with the red roof is called the Raptackle.
The Raptackle is an 18th Century Grade II listed warehouse, built on red brick pillars on one side and faced with tarred weather-boarding. It was built to store and make nets and ropes for the local fishing industry. It was also the home of Bosham Sea School. Nowadays, it is used by the local sailing club.
This is in 16:9 format, so probably better viewed large. Thanks!
Miniature Daffodil

Picked from a pot in my front garden and taken indoors to photograph. This is around twice life size. Captured in natural light and with a piece of black card as a background.
Please view the PiPs for a couple more views. Thanks for looking!
Hebe

Also known as Veronica.
I think the variety is Hebe x franciscana (aka Veronica x franciscana).
Taken yesterday in the Rock Garden, Southsea, Hampshire.
