Stag Beetle (Female)

Taken in the log pile in my back garden. She looked a bit battered and had obviously been caught in a cobweb (which I picked off). Hopefully there will be more in the log pile!

Thanks folks...............I built the log pile a year or so ago in an attempt to attract these beetles..........this is my first, so I'm quite chuffed. No sign of the male yet though :-(
