The ship in the background is a superb touch. Seem to remember Lepe from some childhood summer holiday staying with relatives I didn't like, lol. Must Google it. Beautiful shot. I'm wondering what the structures are?

The structures (the Dolphins as they are known) are the remains of the pier head used to load ships departing for Normandy for D-Day.
