They do look good Keith, but so impractical in this day and age. It reminds me of something from a Thomas Hardy novel. I wonder if these were stacked this way for thatching use!

I found this very odd.........there is moss on the ground which indicates the field has not seen much use and the hay doesn't look in very good condition for thatching. Who knows?

Very photogenic though..........so can't complain :-)

That is odd Keith. I thought the dark colour was due to editing for a dramatic look....forgive me for that ;o)

Ha, ha.......you were right Rosa............the dark look was due to editing, I was into HDR at the time :-))

........but the hay was pretty grotty anyway!
