Ucontitchie Hill, Cocota, SA

Ucontitchie has been a revelation to me.
At first I could find only about a dozen images on the net, the most useful being from geology articles in a South African based professional journal.

Since then I have found a booklet by Mr Rowley Twidale, entitled Ucontitchie HIll published in 1985.
I now have permission from Mr Twidale to reproduce it here, with both his text AND his photographs, which I had sought to use alongside my own photographs; a project I am working on, albeit slowly. I have tod the story of how I came to find him in my "messages"if any are interested... three cheers for the internet and for twitter in particular!

I do extend my thanks to Mr Twidalle for his generous permission.

At the moment,I fear there are a great many duplicates, but will work through cleaning it up .
