Dev drops by

I taught Dev ten or fifteen years ago and since then we have kept in
touch. He went on to be a film-maker and about a month ago he asked if I
knew of anyone who had an old-fashioned video camera to sell. He was
specifically interested in the kind that were made in the 1970s, not the
later sorts. I said I didn't but I had a book he might like. So he dropt
by for a last visit in my office which I was clearing out at the time. And
I gave him the book.
This was a roll of Fuji 200 film that expired in 2001 -- well before even
the time I taught him. It was shot in my HuaXia 821 camera, which was a
gift from a Chinese friend. Sadly, this was the last shot the camera took as the shutter jammed right afterwards. But I got nice pictures from it while it worked, including this one of Dev.
