On Explore...Thank you very much ;-)
My pink planet fractal ;-) Using the Mandelbrot method.
The mathematical roots of the idea of fractals have been traced through a formal path of published works, starting in the 17th century with notions of recursion, then moving through increasingly rigorous mathematical treatment of the concept to the study of continuous but not differentiable functions in the 19th century, and on to the coining of the word fractal in the 20th century with a subsequent burgeoning of interest in fractals and computer-based modelling in the 21st century.
The term "fractal" was first used by mathematician Benoît Mandelbrot in 1975. Mandelbrot based it on the Latin frāctus meaning "broken" or "fractured", and used it to extend the concept of theoretical fractional dimensions to geometric patterns in nature.

On Explore....thank you very much ;-)
A fractal is a never-ending pattern. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales. They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. Driven by recursion, fractals are images of dynamic systems – the pictures of Chaos. Geometrically, they exist in between our familiar dimensions. Fractal patterns are extremely familiar, since nature is full of fractals. For instance: trees, rivers, coastlines, mountains, clouds, seashells, hurricanes, etc. Abstract fractals – such as the Mandelbrot Set – can be generated by a computer calculating a simple equation over and over.

Fractal experiment. Sorry I can't remember if this was Apophysis or Mandlebub
This did remind me of something but not everyone will know what i mean by that title lol...

Generated by fractal mandelbub.
Another fractal experiment.
I was having a few problems with this one, I could not get the colour how I wanted it.. It was lighter in colour when I made it, but every time it was rendered it went darker:-(, and yet I had saved it at every stage.
However, I do like how the layers gave a nice lacy effect.

I used the Apophysis 2 algorithm.
Thanks for dropping by, always appreciated.
Have a look at this, something to make you smile........
The moz’ART Group is composed of well educated instrumentalists who graduated from prestigious Academies of Music in Warsaw and Łódz, but they decided to play classical music in a humorous way. The moz’ART Group are: Filip Jaslar – first violin; Michał Sikorski – second violin; Paweł Kowaluk – viola; Bolek Błaszczyk – cello.
