Bath House, Cromer

The Bath House Hotel was probably established as a Bath house around 1828, although it was destroyed by a storm. The oldest part of the west end dates from 1836. The original owner was Simeon Simons, who was also Cromer's school teacher.
In this building you could partake of warm, or cold, sea water baths for your health, play billiards, or read in the small library.
It became an hotel in 1869, and an east wing with a balcony and ornamental railings were added in 1872
The building was totally renovated approx 5 years ago to my memory...but to this day, I have never seen it open.
