Civil War Dresses

My 1860's dress I plan on wearing Saturday to the 150th Anniversary of Gettysburg.

The side view came out blurry, unfortunately.

This is the dress I've been working on - hence a lot of plaid pictures. It's a horrible picture but it's for my blog. It's done in the late 1850's/early 1860's style - perfect for Gettysburg!

The sleeves for the 1860's dress I'm trying to make.

Right now, the bodice is in bodice shape, the sleeves are sew but not to the bodice, and I have yet to pleat the skirt. However, the dress is slowly forming into an 1860's Civil War era dress and will be ready for next week!
