This gown is based off the one seen in Ever After

The front of the bodice. The main body is a vintage silk satin from Hong Kong. The "wrinkled" stuff on either side of the middle is crinkle silk organza that I attempted to iron out. The pearly fabric in the center is from what was probably an early teens (as in 1910's) dress. I still have the inner bodice and this piece of fabric and that's it. I figured the fabric could go to good use. The trim is gold bullion from a sari -most likely antique itself.

I hand sewed on tiny gears to the trim to give a more steampunk feel before I tea dyed it.

The gold "ring" trim is crocheted jewelry wire. I didn't do the greatest job but it looks okay for where it will end up. There are small nuts on it to give it a more steampunk feel. The back drop is the silk organza for the sleeves and the skirt.
