Inside back of the dress. I think the muslin was added to make the back of the dress stick out a bit.

Inside back bodice. The lining was most likely originally linen. The side back piece is now muslin.

Inside back bodice. The lining was most likely originally linen. The side back piece is now muslin.
The wide seam between the side back and the back shows that the dress has been altered in the past. (I have some additional material for the dress and it was clearly altered. Maybe from an 1830's gown into an 1840's gown?)

Inside front bodice. The stitches are very neat. There are front darts and the seam is flat folded in the front.

Full inside bodice. The dress still has almost all the hooks and eyes.

Back of dress. I only did a few of the hooks to make sure I didn't put too much stress on the dress.
