Threatening Skies
Before the storm. Sometimes during the storm.

Dark Sky
Went to Lansing's ballyard on Monday night with a bunch of friends. It was a beautiful night, except for this cloud which passed in mid-game. It continued on its way, & things lightened up again.
Except on the field. Neither team played well; the Luggies lost.

Since I complimented Julio Garcia's restraint about an umpire's perhaps-bad call in an earlier entry, I should acknowledge that I've seen him throw what can only be called tantrums in two recent games; he's now sitting out a suspension which resulted from Monday's explosion. He had a legitimate complaint, methinks, but carried the argument far too far.
Sunset
This evening was dominated by a rather dramatic storm; it had Andy Provenzano, Channel 10's weather guy, talking about "Funky Clouds". Besides the impressive clouds, the wind was a bit frightening here, and rain fell. Lots of rain fell. And a nearby high school had significant storm damage.

Into the Storm
Joan got out on her bike for the first time on Saturday. When we turned north to return home, we found this sky. We got a little wet.
Fortunately, we didn't get the hail ktpupp reports with this picture , which was apparently taken a couple hours later around thirty miles east of us.
