Lake Michigan Beach

This could be almost anywhere on Lake Michigan; it's probably somewhere around Petoskey. Mom & Dad were staying in Good Hart that vacation, I think. One of a set of similarly generic--but very pretty--Lake Michigan slides, some of which I imagine I'll post. They include a couple shots of that impressive rock. 1976, probably with Dad's Argus C3.

Age 56: Portrait in Blue

We headed for Northern Michigan yet again yesterday, with today's Staley-Bennett Reunion at Boyne City as our main objective. We caught up with Joan's sister (Pam) and niece (Sarah) at Petoskey State Park on Saturday, and Joan shot this pic while we were exploring the beach. Had a pleasant evening built around an excellent dinner at Petoskey's Rio Grand Steakhouse. Looks like I think I look. Photo by Joan Bennett
