Hatti and Rog Touch Feet

Mom and Dad, making contact across the living room early in 1972. This is the interior of our house at 1318 Palmer in Kalamazoo. I routinely take better pictures than this, but there aren't many I like better. Today would have been Mom's 84th birthday.

(Old) Fresh Snow

The Butternut tree behind our garage at 1318 Palmer Avenue in Kalamazoo. It's 1973, I'm just back from Vietnam, and I've got this fancy new camera.

Fence and Forsythias

Been sorting through some old photographs this morning.... Our back yard, on Palmer Avenue in Kalamazoo, in January of 1972. I was back from Vietnam, but not yet out of the Army when I took this photo. We played whiffle baseball in this yard and used that high wall to define homers (and doubles, I think). Our neighbor built the fence to keep us kids out of her yard, which didn't work as well as she'd likely hoped.

A Ghost of Winters Past

Taken in January of 1972 at 1318 Palmer Avenue in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In my memory that January was much like this past one. Taken with my SR-T 101. At the time I was back from Vietnam but not yet out of the army.
