Bob Blackman, host of WKAR Radio's weekly program The Folk Tradition, was also host on the main stage at the East Lansing Art Fair.

Detour's mandolin player, front man, primary songwriter, and sometime lead singer Jeff Rose. I've been a fan of Jeff's for--well, pretty much forever. I was going to tell a story here, but it'll have to wait. I've had a long day.

Detour's banjo player--and reigning national bluegrass banjo champion --Mike Sumner. When Detour's Radio Hill album first came out I attempted to purchase it through the band's website. The attempt failed, the website's checkout wasn't working right. Mike noticed, and sent me a note suggesting that I buy the album from CD Baby . Which I did.
