Richland

Richland, Michigan. I've been driving through Richland regularly as long as I've been driving, but today's the first time I've stopped and walked around the downtown park. 'Bout time, I say.

Three Lakes, near Richland, Michigan. While the individual lakes don't have names, this is the middle lake. The photo was taken from 35th street, which runs between the middle lake and the easternmost one. When I was in junior high--many, many years back--my dad and I would hie off to Three Lakes and fish. The place still looks much the same, but you can apparently no longer rent a boat for the afternoon.

Near Richland, Michigan. I was trying to capture all the shades of green around the lake in this photo, and would like to believe that I managed to do so.
