Sideline

Today's 2018 Charlotte (MI) Bluegrass Festival preview brings you Sideline. I've managed to get the entire band into this photo, which was more difficult than you might think.
Here's Nathan Aldridge (fiddle), Steve Dilling (banjo), Troy Boone (mandolin), Jason Moore (bass), Brad Hudson (dobro), and Skip Cherryholmes (guitar) at the Marshall Bluegrass Festival last July 29. Aldridge has moved on--he's now fiddlin' with IIIrd Tyme Out--and we'll be seeing Daniel Greeson with this band on June 22.
This is the only band in this week's set not photographed at Charlotte--because next week will be their first Charlotte appearance. I'm looking forward to it; Steve Dilling, in particular, is a long-time favorite.

My husband and I saw Flatt Lonesome at The Historic Earle Theater in Mt Airy, NC.
We are going back to ' The Earle ' late this year to enjoy Balsam Range ... great group if they go up your way -- worth it !
My fave song is 'Ruby' while spouse loves 'Last Train' ...
Check You Tube .. turn up the speakers ~
