Joel Dinda club has replied to Marta Wojtkowska clubExperimenting a bit shows that I can crop the photo on both sides and get a framing I like that lacks the tree, but it's not a version I like better than this one. Just cropping the tree out messes up the pic's balance, in my view.
I shot three versions of the photo. The second attempt adds a second tree on the left, while the third adds a different tree on the left and another on the right (I moved around a bit). #2 has composition issues beyond the framing trees, but I might have posted #3 instead of this one on a different day. On the whole, though, I like this version best.
