A year ago today I shot 15 photographs of Oreo, mostly of her playing Statue Kitty on the end of the bookshelf.

I chose to treat the daily photo project as a separate venture from my normal photography, with its own rules, a specified camera, and a (soft) mid-morning deadline. Other photography typically took place later in the day, generally with a different camera.

It's not the only way such a project could be done. I'll likely arrange things rather differently if I do this again.

Other photos taken on 7/1/2012: The Daily Flower Census was small--merely 26 pix--and surprisingly orange (Butterfly Weed, Daylilies, Trumpet Vine). But this was the day's best photo.
