Superb series of insect macros! I always have trouble taking acceptable photos of ladybugs because of their shiny wings. This is simply superb. May I ask if you used a polarizing filter?

Thank you, micritter! didn't use a polarizing filter. Actual, the ladybug-photos were the only photos at that day without flash. I shoot in RAW and devellop with DxO Studio pro which offers a "ClearView" function to dehaze the photo an frexh up colors, too. In a way, there are similarities to a polarizing filter.
