A portion of a c. 1600 BC women's hermitage near the the summit of Cnoc Gríenne in County Limerick. "Daughters of the Sun" lived in small stone huts, did rituals on behalf of Grian (the Sun goddess) and tended this water garden, fed by a spring. [Original file 116 MB]
