Roman gold
While digging the foundations for a garage in 1993 builders discoverd this hoard of 2,558 Roman gold coins with an estimated value of 2.5 million Euro. Now on display in the Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Trier, Germany.
Mosaic circle
The collection of Roman mosaics in the museum is stunning. A huge room with floor and walls covered in mosiac.
