London Ghost Signs

Tottenham Court Rd, nr. Goodge St. Wonder what J&J Goddard was? The building underneath now seems to be some sort of casino.

Spotted this one from the top of a bus going down Upper St, Islington. Doesn't look as if it will last much longer. Can't make out all the writing. At the top it reads: HARE & HOUNDS GARAGE S WOOD & SONS LTD Can't make out much of the rest apart from ...provided ... Lorries ... 10-ton The reflection from the bus window doesn't help much either but there wasn't much I could do about that!

... but not quite gone! Old auction room sign on corner of Poynings Rd and Junction Rd, Tufnell Park, London N19. Can just make out the word 'furniture' at the bottom but the middle part has completely faded away.

Faded sign in Highgate Village. It actually looks as if it's been whitewashed over at some point and is becoming more visable again as the whitewash fades.
