For now, I'll say Borough - try another one.
Your are right it is *not* in Mornington Crescent, or Borough or the same borough as Mornington Cres. But it is a former church and nearish to a couple of others I have had in the pool recently.

Now I read it again it seems that Whitefield's tabernacle was a wooden building but the 'church' (denomination unspecified) was rebuilt in stone (current building) in 1868. Now I need to look for the foundation stone mentioned in the Wikipedia article. No date in that article for when it was taken over by the school. A ref to Pevsner but I don't have that vol.
No mention of Magistrate's court in WP... (not that I trust it as a definitive reference.)
