More lovely jewellery Jenny...............you're very artistic and must have a steady hand and good eyes to work with such small items.

This one is my favourite.

Thank you so much Keith for this lovely comment. I went to Art College when I was a teenager and then went to work with the Ministry of Defence as a cartographer. Of course in those days there were no computers to do the charts and maps, it was all hand drawn and I absolutely loved it. I think I was the only female in the drawing office at that time, it wasn't expected that females could do the job!!!! I got paid half of the men's salaries, although they couldn't tell one from another!!!! So tiny detail has always been my forte, although I need better glasses now!!!!

Aaah, I might have known you'd have some sort of art-related background..!!

I'm not surprised to hear you were paid a lot less than the men............in common with most other companies it was pretty much the norm back then. At least it's much better nowadays (although still not 100 per cent equal across the board)!
