My mantle piece - just keeps that part of the lounge in lights

Love it. Always wanted to have a mantle to decorate..

This isn't the lovely elaborate mantle like I have in the bedroom. I have often wished to have a similar mantle here, Colin said he would bring the one I have upstairs and add it to this one in my lounge - then ooooh - we're cooking on gas!!!!!

So much festive fun here! Jenny, your over-the-top decorations are so dear to my heart, because I am the same way...more, More, MORE!!! :D Of course, these days we don't decorate at all but at some point we'll have another decorative Christmas and then Steve will have to dig the house out from under all of the ornaments and lights that I adorn everywhere! :D

Oh thanks Janet, when I lived in my other house, I had a smaller room, about 24ft by 15ft, so I could easily cover the whole room with decorations. The ceiling was only 10ft high, so I used to have garlands hanging from it.

Only? Only 10 ft? 24 x15 is a huge space too!
