Beautiful yellow of the dandelion

Isn't it strange, but this flower is called a weed and is got rid of almost before they flower. Yet if you look at it carefully, it's a really beautiful flower, the colour and the complexity of the petals. My parents always said that weeds are flowers, just in the wrong place! I have so many of these on my driveway but I leave them there, mostly to the sides of the drive, because I can't see why I should get rid of them just because they're weeds.
