How lovely to know someone on here who's been to my home place. I understand you are living in Oklahoma but English born. Westward Ho is being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century with apartment blocks and hotels - it's really strange because the front is virtually the same but then the seawall towards the Tors is full of new places. I'll send some pics of it if you'd like

I have been here 9 years in May.. I was able to go Home in march 2011 for 3 weeks... but right now we cant get me home again. I MISS THE SEA so badly it hurts.. and "green" and "old" !

That was my 2nd husband (honeymoon) in 1996 and we were staying at The Hunters Inn. It was a bad marriage with a sad end.

This is now my 3rd marriage to this lovely American gent.. but OH I SO wish I was still in England ! jay is worth it.. but its hard.

The West country has my heart 1st husband was a Cornishman too).

We used to holiday in Brixham and Parr as a family..that was 55 years ago. I hit 60 in February !
