Love this pictue.. She's a very pretty woman.. Is Mandi short for Amanda? That's my daughters name also.. I usually wind up calling her Manda...But that's just laziness on my part!

Yes Mandi is short for Amanda, my son is Tony, short for Anthony. I chose names that would be nice shortened for when they were children, and nice too, when they grew up and called themselves their full name. Mandi has actually said, she'd quite like to be called Amanda now and then, and Tony's fiancee already calls him Anthony.

Mandi chose to stand by this lion, because it's sleeping with it's paws crossed - a rather sweet position.

Truth is I named my Amanda after Mr. Spocks mother.. From Star Trek.. Her human name was Amanda Grayson.. And I loved it.. My daughter hates when I say that's who I named her after.. And actually since her middle name is Jennifer...We were originally going to call her AJ after the race car driver AJ Foyt.. But when she was born she looked all an Amanda to me.. The nickname didn't stick..
