The Pharaohs of Egypt were mummified and buried with everything that had belonged to them to go to heaven; Thus, in the tomb of Touthankamon, thousands of objects were found, including furniture, thrones, beds, ornaments, clothes, and even undergarments; The analysis of the underwear fabrics showed an abnormal wear always on the same side proving that the young pharaoh was crippled by one leg; The large number of canes found also confirms this malformation probably due to the frequent consanguinity in the royal families. Les pharaons d'Egypte étaient momifiés et inhumés avec tout ce qui leur avait appartenu pour aller au paradis; C'est ainsi que l'on a trouvé dans la tombe de Touthankamon des miliers d'objets y compris des meubles, des trônes, des lits, des parures, des vêtements et même..... des sous-vêtements; L'analyse des tissus des sous-vêtements a montré une usure anormale toujours du même coté prouvant que le jeune pharaon était infirme d'une jambe; Le grand nombre de cannes retrouvé atteste également cette malformation probablement due à la consanguinité fréquente dans les familles royales.
