Quand je vais chez ma fille, j'adore faire des balades dans ces forêts primaires d'altitude où poussent à merveille ces fougères géantes!!!!! Elle aiment l'humidité! (Te fie pas au ciel bleu de la photo!!!!)

La flore tropicale de l'Ile de la Réunion est passionnante à découvrir surtout que - dit-on - l'île connaît 200 (!!!) variantes de climats!
Cela est dû aux différences d'altitude et d'exposition aux vents et aux pluies.

Ces fougères arborescentes aiment le climat tempéré et très humide des zones d'altitude de l'île. Elles formes parfois de véritables "forêts".

Celle ci était particulièrement imposante mais les fougères arborescentes prolifèrent dans cette région de montagne tempérée et très arrosée (le ciel n'y est pas souvent bleu comme sur la photo!!!!)

Merci mais il ne s'agit pas d'un palmier mais bel et bien d'une fougère géante très fréquente dans les montagnes de l'île au climat tempéré et humide.
Cela dit, ce fut effectivement un jeu pour moi de grimper et de faire une sieste confortablement installé à la cime de ce géant!!!!!!!! J'aurais dû faire un selfie!!!!!!
