Tried to visit here in September 1992 but we were turned away by flooding from violent storms. That day or maybe a day later the campsite in Vaison-La-Romaine got washed away in a flash flood with many deaths (I'd stayed in that campsite a few times in the 70s, so it seemed a bit too close to home for comfort!). The weather that month was atrocious, all over France as I recall!!
Néanmois ... a superb shot!

In France during the autumn of 1992, there were serious climatic problems to which you allude.
But that day, it was sunny and there was no wind! A true paradise...but like all paradises, they can sometimes become hell!!!!!
