Ich nehme an, dass die Fenster und Balkone so gestaltet wurden, dass die häufigen und heftigen Überschwemmungen in dieser Region nicht in die Häuser eindringen!

Lijkt ook wat op een eifel dorpje,, met rustig kabbelend riviertje--en dan sluit ik me aan hetgeen ulrich zegt -hopenlijk blijft het zo rustig---net zoals hier 20 km verder veranderde een lieftallig beekje in een razende stroom na een zware onweersbui--maar de huisjes op deze foto hebben echte sterke muren en de ramen liggen hoog---prachtig

Deze huizen zijn meer dan honderd jaar oud: bij de hoogte van de ramen en balkons moet rekening worden gehouden met de vaak talrijke overstromingen in deze regio van Zuid-Frankrijk.

Bei Hochwasser ist es leider weniger cool (ziemlich häufig in dieser Region!)..... Aber die bewohnten Räume sind immer hochwasserfest gebaut!
