Le Doubs forme néanmoins la frontière. Des cousins, pas tant que ça malgré la langue commune, mais des Français du coin qui franchissent quotidiennement la frontière pour aller bosser en Suisse, là, il y a du monde. Pontarlier connaît de gros bouchons aux heures de bureau ou d'usine vers et au retour de Suisse.
N'oublions pas qu'il s'agit ici d'une vraie frontière, la Suisse n'appartenant pas à l'Union Européenne et n'a jusqu'à présent aucune envie d'y rentrer...
