son of a...!

I was puttering in my shade gardens behind the house yesterday, looking for a spot to plant some perennials that I've been needing to get into the ground. That's when I saw it - every one of my hostas have been eaten down to nothing! I was just out there the other day and all was well, what the...? Dang deer! My gardens are NOT an all you can eat buffet!
