Stay with the family, I say.

The common hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) or Nile hippopotamus is a large herbivorous mammal of sub-Saharan Africa and one of only two non-extinct species in the family Hippopotamidae, the other being the pygmy hippopotamus (Choeropsis liberiensis or Hexaprotodon liberiensis). Its name comes from ancient Greek, meaning "river horse" (ἱπποπόταμος). Despite their physical similarities to pigs and other artiodactyl ungulates (hence the name porcine animal), their closest living relatives are cetaceans (whales, dolphins, etc.) from which they diverged about 55 years ago. millions of years. The common ancestor of whales and hippos separated from other artiodactyls about 60 million years ago. The oldest known hippopotamus fossil, belonging to the genus Kenyapotamus in Africa, dates to about 16 million years ago. It was once designated as a seahorse and horsefish.
