Hythe Bridge Moorings
Folder: Oxford
The Oxford Canal path at Oxford was once a haven of green in the city centre and a delight for residents and visitors, who loved to see the quirky houseboat gardens as they strolled along to the Port Meadow.
But the charm was spoilt by British Waterways (Canal & River Trust) when they decided to "improve" the place by cutting down trees and installing an ugly barrage and eyesore jetty.
