Please take a lesson from here when designing your apartment blocks. Aylesford House may be very old, and maybe it doesn't have all the latest hi-tech stuff, but it's comfortable to look at from the outside. It's what is known as aesthetically pleasing. In case you don't know that term, dear Architect, it means beautiful to behold: i.e. not jarring on the senses, like the bulk of modern blocks that are going up these days. So please think about that with your next project, and create something that is gentle on the eyes and pleasing to the spirit.
