If there were anywhere I'd like to have been, it's here and then. What a wonderful backdrop! Real local people! (not the massed hordes of "visitors" I find everywhere I go). If only I could and had, and I could sing, I'd have joined in.

An over-romantic view. The backdrop is wonderful, as long as you don't mind the litter and graffiti, and the real local yobs shouting abuse and firing air-guns at cats and windows.

It's (for me, anyway) a photographer's objective to flatter his subject, and in that this video succeeds magnificently, helped no little by the music. It appears to show a slice of Devon rural/maritime community life which to some looks and sounds idyllic. I prefer to believe it rather than the inevitable underlying reality.

URBAN community life actually. This is a council estate on the edge of a big city. The rural backdrop is on the other side of the creek. The singers here are teachers at a special school for the learning disabled, which holds a fete every summer and Christmas.
