Ah, now you have made a really serious mistake. These are NARROWBOATS, not barges! You may indeed have a holiday on one. There's a boat hire place just a few yards up from here. Would you like a nice cruise, or an ice cruise?

I must tell you something, I hate being caught faulty in nautical terminology! I can't forgive that to myself!
Well I ask for the jury clemency because we don't have narrowboats over here and so we call "barge" every long and flat bottomed boat used in canals. I knew however that you can rent one and navigate in the green English countryside... there are quite a few in London too, secluded somewhere far from the confusion of the city. I was thinking to hire one next time I go there...
