Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville club1. The dark shadow areas contain no important detail, and kept dark as they are, they give depth and nicely frame what IS important detail.
2. In an ideal world, the seat would be a couple of feet to the right, so the seat and the figures would be exactly on a third, the woman's head clear of the bridge abutment, and there'd be less empty space, lower right. But to move them would be laborious and might leave too much digital "scar tissue".
