The Rabbit

The abuse Sheila has given her stuffed toy rabbit ... I pity the real rabbit that errors coming into our yard. Tawny was always too slow to catch them though she enjoyed the chase. Sheila is very fast and I think the rabbit will require a lot of luck to escape her!

Thanks Chris! :-) Sheila leaves her own little signs all over the yard and maybe that's why I've yet to see a rabbit this year. Most years I have a little of them raised here.

lol I'm sure her personal signs make more of a statement than anything else to the rabbits!
When we lived in the country, each year we had fawns born on the property just on the other side of our flower/wild grasses garden. A few times it was twins! Enjoyed seeing them. They must have felt safe there. Thankfully they didn't dig holes or eat the flowers/shrubs.

I used to run into deer all the time where I used to run in the city park. One dropped a fawn in the middle of the running trail and I almost stepped on the little fella! Sheila managed to get her new collar off and hide it somewhere in the backyard. Knowing her ... she threw it over the fence! lol
