It looks awesome on a '68 too, but the Ramcharger hood is from a '69 Coronet R/T or Superbee.
It wasn't an available option until 1969 model year.

I thought 1969 when I first saw it, but It was a hot rod show and a lot of the cars had a mix of parts from various years. The entry tag stated 1968.

It's definitely a '68 Coronet with that grille and those round side marker lights.
Just the hood scoops are from a '69.
I'm really OCD about originality on Mopars. : ]

That's definitely the way to make them worth the big bucks today, but back when they were newer and less used ... it was very common to switch parts around to get the individual look, or power you wanted. Hot Rod shows are really about that! :-)
