Zion National Park

Thanks Cheryl! Just an old scan of a slide from the film days. I really need to scan those photos again. I have a much better scanner now. :-)

i'd seen lots of zion photos, but this one really makes me want to go. really wonderful. found it by searching for 'angel's landing' - didn't even know where that was! you've really captured the feel for the place. wonderful.

i'd enjoy having this in my group 'been there - wish to go', if you are so inclined.

Many thanks! :-) Zion is a beautiful place and I'd go there in the fall after the crowds are back in school.

The better scanner is a Canoscan 9000F, but it's already long out of date! It works well for photographs, 35mm and 120 negatives and slides. It needs a special adapter for 127 negatives and it is sorely lacking for 4x5 and 8x10 negatives.

That would be a "been there several times, but wish to return" for me. Angel's landing is too steep and scary for me to attempt, but I have said many times, "this time I will attempt it". Then I chicken out at the last minute. Zion National Park is wonder of wonders with so many amazing trails. The canyon overlook is an easy walk with a spectacular view.
